My son was never a good sleeper. From the time he turned four months old, he stopped sleeping. He would wake every two hours and I had to give him a bottle then rock him for atleast thirty minutes. And do the same cycle entire night. I was so sleep deprived that I started having headaches and was frustrated entire day. So was my baby as he didn’t know how to get to sleep. After his 2nd birthday when I once stayed awake till 7 in the morning just rocking and holding him, I decided to look online for a sleep consultant. I am a first-time mother and my son was 4 months old when I started working with Neha. He had 4 months sleep regression and won’t sleep unless cuddled. My goal is for my son to be able to sleep independently on his crib. I am aware of the benefits of healthy sleep and has been reading books about sleep training. I am not confident in doing it alone and Neha helped me in achieving my goal and so much more. Neha has taught him the skill of self-soothing. Now, my son is sleeping 11-12 hours at night with one feeding and naps 3 times a day on his crib at his own room. He is the happiest whenever he wakes up. Neha is the best! During the sleep training process, she made us feel confident and secure. She really knows what she is talking about and her process was spot on! During the sleep training process, she was always there and easy to get ahold of. There was no time in the training did we feel lost she guided us each and Every step of the way. Neha could not have been kinder, more responsive or more professional. We found her service in a desperate middle of the night google search after weeks and weeks of multiple night wake ups and bringing our baby (9 months old at the time) into our bed every night to get her quiet and sleeping. The night sleeping has greatly improved and she stays in her crib 11 hours per night now (sometimes waking up and crying some still during the night, but goes back to sleep and we don’t go in her room). However, our work with naps hasn’t been quite as successful and they are still inconsistent after now more than a month of strictly following the schedule. I wish it had worked out all the way because Neha was a delight to work with and it’s clear she really cares about her clients and their success and happiness. Even though we are weeks past the contract end date, she still checks in on us to see the progress we are making and I really appreciate that extra care and effort.
Neha was exactly what my husband and I needed to get our two kiddos (18 months and 2 1/2) to sleep through the night.
Our 2 year old didn’t have many issues with sleeping through the night but wanted me to lay with her until she fell asleep. Our 18 month old would wake up screaming multiple times a night and would need our reassurance to go back to sleep. I cannot describe how thankful I am to have found Neha at The Sleepy Cub! My little one is 10 months old and had never slept through the night. He was waking between 8-10 times a night, and taking a handful of 20 minute naps during the day. Anytime I would want him to go to sleep, it would take me 45+ minutes of constant bouncing, rocking, soothing, etc. I tried apps and books to help with his schedule and sleep times; they didn’t work. Needless to say, ALL of my time was spent trying to get him to sleep or suffering from the lack of sleep. Everyone was exhausted and grumpy; I was at the end of my rope.
I finally connected with Neha. She is so sweet, understanding, and knowledgeable about children’s sleep habits and the science behind them. She listened carefully to my situation, and told me what was happening in his sleep cycles. She gave me exact wake window times he needed to follow, and the pattern to get him to fall asleep. She also broke down the habits into manageable steps. Once he succeeded at one habit, we would begin working on the next. It was not overwhelming for either myself or my son.
She told me I needed to be consistent for this method to work, so I committed to it right then and there! The first night, it took him about an hour and a half to fall asleep. By the third night, it was only 30 minutes to fall asleep and he was only waking 2-3 times a night. That’s a HUGE improvement!! By the first week, he started going down for naps on his own and was continuing to improve with nighttime sleep. Neha helped me connect his sleep cycles, so naps eventually got to be an hour and a half or 2 hours in length. That’s incredible!!!

Neha was there through it all- providing check-ins, seeing if we needed any help, giving timely advice, and celebrating our wins with us! I regret not working with her sooner. She is worth every penny and more! Don’t fall into the lie that because you’re a parent, you will never sleep. You can be a great parent AND get great sleep. I desperately called her 11:30pm Boston time after driving around for 3 hours to get my kids to sleep. I was recommended to her by a friend. I was extremely hesitant to use a sleep doctor but figured if she helped my friends kids maybe she can help mine too. I was also unsure of what a virtual experience would look like. I thought sleep doctors came to peoples homes. We FaceTimed in my dark car and three days later we began this journey. Before using the Sleepy Cub, my daughter of 8 months was still requiring feeding and rocking to sleep every 2-3 hours at night and her nap were averaging 30-35 minutes. After only 2 nights, my daughter was sleeping 11+ hours without feedings or rocking to sleep! Neha worked very closing with my to work out my daughters awake hours to get her naps to an hour +. Neha is absolutely wonderful! My youngest son has been a terrible sleeper from the start, but we hit our breaking point recently when he just completely stopped sleeping. He is the sweetest, happiest two-year-old who just didn’t want to give in to sleep. He wouldn’t fall asleep or stay asleep (except at daycare)!
